Case Study:
WESTLAKE CENTER
SEATTLE, WA.
Comprehensive development responsibilities for this $110 million urban mixed-use center in the heart of downtown Seattle.
Darrell Vange was the Development Director, employed by the Rouse Company, of this complex project, with two levels of parking, four levels of retail and twenty floors of office space. The project opened in 1988.
Darrell was responsible for managing the project team, including design, construction and leasing. He negotiated the development agreement with the City, as well as the Monorail and Metro agreements.
The project has been highly successful, and is the cornerstone of the retail district in downtown Seattle, Washington.
